Hannah's journey with photography began under the red lights of her high school's dark room. She developed her knowledge of the basics of photography and composition through black-and-white film photography, before expanding to her first Nikon DSLR. She concluded her introductory learning phase with a multi-part concentration of black-and-white editorial portraits.

During her university years, Hannah achieved a Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication, with majors in Public Relations and Digital Media Production. In that time, she further advanced her knowledge of photography and videography, honing her eye for composition and ability to bring ideas to life.

After her graduation, Hannah began working with the Chicago Yacht Club (CYC) as a digital content specialist. In this role she has found a love for sailing photography and loves the challenge of finding new ways to create dynamic images that convey the story of a race.

Outside of her career with CYC, Hannah is an avid wildlife and editorial portrait photographer. In the future, Hannah intends to expand her network and grow the scale of her projects. She is actively looking for opportunities to collaborate with other creatives to create portrait, wildlife, and sports images that tell intriguing stories and encourage viewers to engage with the subject.
